As a Distributor of LGL products we have the option of asking, "Is there a better LED Grow Light product in the marketplace?" Benchmarking is important to us as we want to offer our customers the best available products based on both price and performance.
Recently, one of our retailer customers asked us to do a simple test comparing the LGL XB bulb with a competitor's 168 diode bulb shipping out of California. The results of our quick tests are captured in the pictures below. Both Lux and PAR measurements were made using the LGL 180 diode XB red bulb and the other guy's product. As you can see, the XB significantly outproduces Brand X. And, the XB uses only 9 watts of energy versus their 10 watts.
