How do LEDs help my plants?

All plants need light to grow, but when plants are in the vegetative stage they need more light from the blue spectrum. When plants start to produce and flower, they need more light from the red spectrum. LED kits can offer light from both spectrums in one package.

                 Can LEDs be used with hydroponic growing systems?
